In early 2021 a group of Sri Lankans living in Sri Lanka and overseas gathered for a common cause; to realize the great Sri Lankan dream – ‘’a developed Sri Lanka by the year 2040 ‘’. Thus, they named their Organisation as Vision 2040 Limited when they registered it in August the same year (reg # PB 00243571) to function on an impact investment model. Being a social enterprise with 100% commitment to our cause, no dividends are paid to our shareholders.
Since Vision 2040 was established, we worked tirelessly to develop some key strategic departments to revive economic and social fronts in pursuing our Vision.

As the old adage ‘blood is thicker than water’ suggests, we thought it will be our own people who would feel for another Sri Lankan, so we developed Sri Lankan World, a crowdfunding platform totally dedicated to Sri Lanka with the sincere hope that Sri Lankans living in the country and all over the world would come forward with a contribution to ‘fight back’ and transform Sri Lanka into the World’s newest tiger economy aligned with our Vision, ‘a developed Sri Lanka by the year 2040’.

A Promoter would require leading the funding initiative by registering their friends and relatives to fund the project. Securing required fund for the project will qualify the Promoter to be recognised as a Sri Lankan World Ambassador. Further, we would appoint a Project manager to overlook and support the Promoter on the project.

Vision 2040 is a social enterprise with 100% commitment to its cause. Profits of the organisation will be re-invested for sustainability of the organisation and for future work. No dividends will be paid to any shareholders.
